I have partnered with leaders at the forefront of social change for three decades — helping them govern, lead, and operate in equitable, sustainable, and joyful ways. I've supported hundreds of organizations working for human rights, gender justice, indigenous rights, environmental justice, and more in aligning individual and organizational practices with deeply held values. I bring expertise in leadership development, governance design, and organizational transformation to those doing the hardest and most important work of our time.
Who I Work With
I partner with leaders and organizations working for justice and equity in philanthropy and the nonprofit sector. My clients are navigating complex, high-stakes moments: governance transitions, leadership challenges, equity transformations, and the ongoing work of aligning practice with values. I also support facilitators, trainers, and consultants in leading and supporting change efforts.
Organizations
Philanthropic Institutions — Foundations and funder networks ready to move beyond intention and align grantmaking, culture, and governance with equity values. I draw on the Resonance Framework and Choir Book, which I co-authored at Justice Funders, as a field-tested roadmap for multi-phase processes.
Capacity Building Programs & Grantee Support Initiatives — Foundations and intermediaries running programs to strengthen grantees and nonprofit partners. I bring extensive experience as a coach, facilitator, and curriculum designer to capacity building cohorts, peer learning networks, and leadership development programs — helping nonprofits build the resilience, leadership, and organizational health needed to navigate today's challenges and sustain their impact.
Foundation and Nonprofit Boards — Boards deepening partnership with staff leadership, evolving equity commitments, and upleveling governance for the current context. I bring deep familiarity with how nonprofits and philanthropic institutions function and a bold vision for governance for these times.
Social Justice Nonprofits & Foundations in Governance Transition — Organizations moving toward shared leadership practice, liberatory governance, or worker self-direction. I bring practical, hands-on guidance — including my own experience in a worker self-directed nonprofit.

Executive Directors & CEOs — Leaders of social justice nonprofits at any stage: new to the role, navigating change, or preparing to transition. I bring 25+ years of sector knowledge, so you never have to explain the landscape or justify the stakes.
Co-Executive Directors — Co-leadership is full of promise, and complex to enact effectively. I support co-EDs in navigating the relational, strategic, and structural dimensions unique to shared executive leadership.
Program Officers & Foundation Staff — Foundation staff doing justice-oriented work inside institutions navigating their own questions of power and equity. I provide coaching grounded in a clear-eyed understanding of how philanthropy actually functions.
Consultants, Coaches, and Trainers
Internal Facilitators — The "accidental facilitators" within organizations are often expected to know how to design and lead internal processes and retreats, in addition to their actual job responsibilities, with little training or support. I know because that's how I started in this work! I can provide guidance and tools for internal facilitators to help their organizations with ease.
Consultants — Managing a consulting practice on your own comes with a lot of benefits, and a lot of demands. I can support consultants in honing in on purposeful offerings and developing a vibrant and successful consulting practice.
Trainers — Developing and delivering dynamic trainings and workshops is an art and science, especially for online spaces. I can bring ideas and approaches that made Justice Funders' Harmony Initiative and other spaces dynamic and joyful whether we were in person or online.
